Mama Update

Mama is doing well. I sent pictures of the back wound to the vet yesterday and since Mama has already had a pain shot and antibotic shot they said to just watch it - its not ooozie or anything like that, just sore. She did eat fairly well last evening meeting me to ask for dinner and ate lots of treats while laying in Shon last night too. This morning she ate pretty good too so thats a plus.

We have been trying to figure out what happened and think we have found the answer. A few weeks ago we tore down our back porch so a new SunRoom could be built, the SunRoom was finished last Thursday ( I need to post pictures) however some of the old deck boards are still on the back of the farm truck because they have nails in them that need to be removed before the boards can be burned. Mama was near the farm truck on Saturday - where it is parked is a great place to lay in the shade and mouse. The holes in her back are too far apart for kitty teeth - but just right for a pair of nails. Same goes for the scratch on her leg, there are no other marks just a strait line like she got caught on a nail. My best guess is that she was playing on the boards on the truck and fell. That makes the most sense.

Mama lives in the house most of the time - actually this past weekend was the most she has been out since last summer. None of my kitties are mean to her they all get along so I cant see one of them juming on her and hurting her.

About the sunroom - we decided to build a sunroom back in January and it was suppose to start April 1 - magically they were agailable to start earlier and it was completed on April 4th. I did take lots of picutes and will post them later today or tomorrow. The cats already LOVE it :)

thank you all for all the purrs
