BABIES!!!

Everyone LOVES babies ... and Momy took LOTS of pictures of the babies ...

Momy would not let any of us boys in to see the babies and I really really wanted to go in there and see cause I love babies ...however Mama Cat was MEAN and well mean! She would not let anyone but Momy and Dady get even close to the babies....

This is Mama just a few days after having Babies

She and the kids were in a very warm room (it was February and snowing) it was warm enough that she could leave them in their box and lay in the chair or floor or on the table and look outside. She was VERY good about letting her room be cleaned and her box and towels

Babies Week 1

By week 2 Momy had found homes for all the babies. Momy and Dady decided to keep Mama Cat and find the babies homes. Lucky enough she found 3 homes for 5 babies. The kitten that was going to a home alone would not be alone the people taking her had a 12 week old kitten so they would be close in age - Momy was VERY particular with who got the babies - everyone that was getting a baby was a friend of a friend and came highly recomended. 

Momy took LOTS of pictures and sent baby pictures out to the new families every Tuesday then kittens were named and she called them by their names - this made it easier for Momy to let them go after 10 weeks of having babies in the house.

More about Lil Girl

Over the next few month Lil Girl gained weight and got to where she did not like going outside. She was gaining weight and Momy was VERY happy about that. All us boys didnt understand ... we never been around a GIRL cat before she was NUTS!

Then one day Dady took this ....

Its a little blery cause he took it with is phone ...

Lil Girl was FAT ...

Momy was worried ... so she went to the Dr .... and they took pictures inside her tummy and guess what they saw ....

Did you guess ???

3 BABYs

Thats right .... Lil Girl had a scar on her tummy where the scar for a spay should be but she wasnt fixed

She was gonna be a MAMA CAT

She weighed 12.5 pounds ....

4 weeks later

The second Tuesday in February 2008 - 5 babies were borned

Momy had fixed Mama a nice box in the warmest room in the house and she was going to wait about another week to start shutting the door during the day so she would have privacy ... Dady came home that day to Mama fussing at him - he thought she wanted him to hold her like usual and rub her BIG FAT tummy

Nope! She had already had 1 baby and was working on #2 when he FINALLY realized ...

Us boys had no idea what was going on ....

Once Dady went in the room with Mama she would not let him leave - Momy was at school so she had no idea she got home in time to see baby #4 borned ... since the pictures only showed 3 baby heads Momy and Dady thought it was all over. They made sure Mama had everything she needed and went to bed

Then next morning there were 5 thats right 5 babies!

Lil Girl

Mom was hangin out with Grandmeow and Pawpaw one August evening like usual in 2008 when she saw something out in the field ... she went to inspect ... the closer she got the louder it MEOWED ...

It was a lil kitty ... a VERY lil kitty

Momy picked up the kitty and brought back to paws house where she put it in a cat carrier and fed it. It was very friendly and sweet and so so so so so skinny .... she then took it home

MAN is she not UGLY!

Dady called her the Alien Baby for a while

Momy took her to see Dr. D - Kitty weighed all of 4 pounds and Momy almost cried when she found out Kitty was at least 8 years old! Thats right someone had her for 8 years! Then threw her away ...

After being given a clean bill of health, getting her shots and seeing a scar on her tummy to indicate being spayed she came back home - Momy went around asking if anyone has lost a kitty ... no one had

Dady named her Lil Girl and she is a Dadys Girl

Lots more about her - just wait til you hear this stuff !!

with 30 mph winds

so ... napping on warm clean clothes

Then there was Moose

This is where Moosie comes into the picture

He could not wait his turn because that is the way he is

Momy looked for Moosie a home unsuccessuflly

The day he went for his boy surgery Dady took him

he asked if Moose was to be de-clawed Momy said

Not if you expect me to find him a home

Dady told the vet Moosie was staying and so he was de-clawed

Which is just as well - Moosie is scairt of outside

So bad at first that he would not get too close to a window or door

now he will venture outside but only if Momy is near

unlike Scooter who is the "un-touchable"

Story time with Momy

Scooter was borned on May 22, 2007 - that makes him 2 almost 3 years old. He was found drownin in Claytor Lake in June 2007 - he was about 5-6 weeks old - just a little thing

I took good care of him

Scooter was a very loving and playful kitten

Then he got bigger and decided that he does not really like Momy and Dady

No one really knows why he is such a scairty cat - He hides under the bed 95% of the time - Sometimes he will come out and play but not often

See how cute he was

He still loves me and we nap together and play but like I said he hides a lot none of us really understand why or really when things changed

We love Scooter all the same but Momy wishes he was more outgoing and loveable

Sometimes he sleeps in the bed with Me and Momy
